HOLIDAY FLAT FOR RENT

The Place

  • The apartment is located in Atlántida,
    one of the major     beach resorts in Uruguay.

  • The building - "Edificio Mansamar" - resides on the waterfront of beach "Playa Mansa".
    It is secured with a reception desk and video surveillance and has     2 elevators.
  • The apartment on the 1st floor accomodates
    up to 4 people and features:
    • 2 bedrooms facing the sea and coastal road, each offering fantastic views and sunsets.
    • a living/dining room
    • an open kitchen with a granite counter
    • a bathroom with shower / bidet
  • For a good night's sleep, already 1 mosquito in
    the room is one too many.  So     we installed
    mosquito protection in front of all windows and
    over the beds.     There is no need for chemical repellents like in most other places.

  • The flat has its own fenced and sun
    protected parking space in the garage.
    On the same level of the building there is a coin operated laundry and dryer room. An e    lectric iron and ironing board are in the apartment.

The Kitchen

  • The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric kitchen stove and oven, a big refrigerator, a microwave oven, an electric juicer and a kettle.
  • It comes with dishes/tableware for 4 people, a stainless steel wok, anti-stick frying pan, different kitchen utensils and a thermos jug for preparing
    the traditional "mate" tea.

Bedroom  No. 1

  • This bedroom is provided with a double bed
    (so called "2 Plazas" = 190 x 140 cm).
  • The room is en-suite with the bathroom.
  • It has double sliding windows (equivalent to triple glazing) for maximum sound-proofing and a roller shutter between the two windows.
  • From the chair at the window you have a wonderful view on the whole bay, suitable for watching the fantastic sunsets of Uruguay from an "elevated" position. At night the lights of Montevideo can be seen in the distance.
  • The room is equipped with spacious integrated wardrobes.

Bedroom  No. 2

  • This bedroom is also provided with a double bed.
  • In addition, this room has a big roofed balcony.
  • It has large sound-proofing double windows and
    2 independent roller shutters between the two windows.
  • The room has a large built-in wardrobe like the
    one in the other bedroom.
  • It comes with a writing desk from which you have
    a spectacular view on the sea.
  • The CD Player/Radio with an AUX-IN is a nice additional feature.

The Living Room

  • The living room is equipped with ...
    • a dining table and chairs for 4 people
    • 2 sofas (from one you have a good
      view of the sea)
    • a computer desk with monitor (VGA connector), keyboard + mouse for connecting with your laptop
    • a fast wireless internet access point (LTE) via WLAN/WIFI
    • a USB power supply with 3 USB-Ports for recharging your camera or smartphone
    • a Soundspeaker system to connect with the headphone output of your MP3 player or smart phone.
